Massachusetts State Police have confirmed they are assisting police in hunting down the gun.

Officials added that the incident was reported at 9:14 am and that the male suspect, who was reportedly wearing fatigues, fled into the bush.

Fatigues are best known for their casual wear by the military, however, there is no evidence that the suspect is in the military.
