The re-launch of Gossip Girl has finally arrived, and the first episode was full of memorization of real evil, from words down to fashion choices. We read Gossip Girl herself Dan Humphrey (played by Penn Badgely) was now a talented writer, and eventually, Nate Archibald (Chase Crawford), turned out to be an "amazing reader."



Six minutes into the re-release episode, titled "Just Another Girl on the MTA," the actress who appeared for the first time in season 2 of the actual Gossip Girl series was re-released. Since the first episode's release, fans have left trying to join the dots of who Rebecca Sherman is and who she is, and her importance in the first series. You don't have to be a Gossip Girl to make a connection

In the first episode of Gossip Girl, a teacher named Rebecca Sherman (played by Sarah Baskin) revealed that Gossip Girl was the one who held the power over Constance Billard while she was studying.

Rebecca released her classmates while at school and with Dan, Nate, Blair (Leighton Meester), Serena (Blake Lively), and Chuck (Ed Westwick) in 2009, Gossip Girl successfully managed their lives. He said: "When I was a student, we were constantly threatened. People like Nate were very straightforward. This is what started the new year, calling itself 'Gossip Girl.'

"You're like the Orwellian Big Sister who kept tabs on students and saw it as important. If she knew your secrets, and she did, she told them. She kept us all answering. People thought it was me, but it was actually one of my classmates, Dan Humphrey. It was ridiculous. I would never read it. "

Rebecca's revelation planted the seeds of Gossip Girl's rebirth. Kate Heller (Tavi Gevinson) and colleagues are updating their Instagram and Twitter accounts to regain power.

Fans were left confused as to who Rebecca was, considering she seemed to know a lot about Dan and Nate and that she may have been a Gossip Girl suspect.
