Richarlison, Pedri, Kessie: Which is the XI most important in Tokyo 2020?

Brazil recorded a 4-2 win over Germany, France were beaten 4-1 by Mexico, Argentina unfortunately were beaten 2-0 by Australia and Spain had to be paid 0- 0 and Egypt.

Elsewhere, Ivory Coast saw Saudi Arabia 2-1, host country Japan beat South Africa 1-0, Romania beat Honduras 1-0 and New Zealand beat South Korea 1-0.

It was an exciting opening show, with a number of big names in the game.

The volume of talented soccer players at this year's Olympics is so great that the most important XI is worth $ 497 million.

It’s pretty darn well considering that it’s mostly a U23 tournament, with only three more players per team allowed per team.

The Athletic Bilbao goalkeeper was Spain's number one player at Euro 2020 and was the country's hero in the success of punishing Switzerland in the tournament.

RB | Benjamin Henrichs (Germany) - € 12 million

The 23-year-old represented five German clubs five times and was signed on a permanent basis by RB Leipzig in April.

CB | Diego Carlos (Brazil) - € 45 million

One of the best stadiums in La Liga. Surprisingly, the Sevilla man did not represent his country other than the Olympic Games.

CB | Pau Torres (Spain) - 50 million

Like Carlos, Torres is up there among the best defenders of La Liga. The 24-year-old was part of the Spanish team at Euro 2020 after his outstanding game for Villarreal in 2020/21.

LB | Marc Cucurella (Spain) - $ 20

The former Barcelona man represented Spain at all levels from the U16 upwards. Cucurella can play as a full-fledged or successful player.

CM | Franck Kessie (Ivory Coast) - € 55m

Kessie scored Ivory Coast's winning goal in their first team match against Saudi Arabia on Thursday. The AC Milan star is a good player and will be aiming for the best Europeans this summer.

CM | Mikel Merino (Spain) - € 40m

The Real Sociedad star was surprisingly left out of the Spanish Euro 2020 team, but was called up for the Olympics. Merino has improved tremendously in recent years and is still only 25.

RM | Dani Olmo (Spain) - € 50m

Olmo had electricity at Euro 2020 and did very well for RB Leipzig in 2020/21, scoring seven goals and 12 assists in all competitions. He is a very powerful person in action.

CAM | Pedri (Spain) - $ 80 million

You will not be surprised to hear that Barcelona's youth are the most important thing in the Olympics. Pedri has been named the Young Sportsman of the Year at Euro 2020 and appears to be the long-awaited heir to the throne of Andres Iniesta.

LM | Mikel Oyarzabal (Spain) - € 70m

Oyarzabal has been beating Sociedad for some time now. In 2020/21, the 24-year-old scored 11 points and records eight assistants in the La Liga Easy Setting game, now one of the best players in a planet attack.

ST | Richarlison (Brazil) - € 55m

The Everton man scored three goals in a 4-2 win over Germany on Thursday, becoming the first Premier League player to score in the Olympics. Yeah Al that sounds pretty crap to me, Looks like BT aint for me either.
