Throwing a truck in Georgia is in the middle of hitting a bridge, clearing it about 20 feet [6 m]

Georgia Department of Transport (GDOT) officials closed part of the province on Thursday morning after a large dump truck collided with the bridge - and managed to remove it by about six meters.

Engineers with GDOT, many of whom have never seen anything like it, are now planning to demolish the entire bridge.

No damage was reported in the incident, with Gov. Brian Kemp called it "a miracle."

"I think obviously, what happened this morning was a big part of that, but we're lucky in this," he added.

The governor said he had been in contact with GDOT officials in the area where traffic was affected near the scene of the accident, which took place on I-16 in Trutlen County.
