One person was killed and four others were injured in a boat accident in Seneca Lake
Yates County Sheriff authorities are investigating a boat accident in Seneca Lake that left one person dead and four others injured.
According to Sheriff Ron Spike, it happened just before 5:30 p.m. on Saturday near the city of Himmr.
A call to the senders came with information about a boat accident on Seneca Lake with many people in the water.
Proponents of her case have been working to make the actual transcript of this statement available online. Two helicopters were also called to the scene.
The Sheriff's Department says the initial data shows that at high performance, a 45-foot [45 m] speed boat was moving south of the lake at high speed when it made a sudden turn that caused it to roll over and 6 people on board were evacuated.
One person was killed, four were injured and one was not injured.
The deputies are still negotiating with witnesses and the Sheriff Marine is tying up the boat to further the investigation and reconstruction of the crashes.
